<br />The specific objectives of the proposed project are: <br /> <br />1. Augment the flow of the Colorado River for the <br />project period. <br /> <br />2. Establish a precise record of operational cloud <br /> <br /> <br />seeding effectiveness over a range of wet and dry <br /> <br /> <br />years. <br /> <br />3. Determine if there are perceptible and significant <br />effects of large-scale seedin9 on precipitation, <br />runoff, and environmental regimes up to 200 miles <br />downwind of the basin. <br /> <br />4. Determine if there are perceptible and significant <br /> <br />ecological and other environmental impacts over an <br /> <br />extended period and develop detailed, acceptable <br /> <br />operating criteria to minimize adverse impacts with <br /> <br />a full water augmentation program. <br /> <br />5.
