Sixth will be a major

section containing the results of the cloud physics and kinematics

experiments. The several experiments are designed to shed light on the

spatial and temporal distribution of supercooled liquid water in the

clouds over the Tushar Mtns, the physical processes responsible for pre-

cipitation development, and the trajectories of cloud and precipitation

particles. Seventh will be SI major section containing case studies of

selected STORMS. The case-studies will aim to explain the environmental

conditions le.ading to the STORMS, the evolution of the STORMS, and the

inner workings of the STORMS which lead to precipitation on the Tushar

Mtns. Eighth will be a section summarizing the main results of the

Report and suggesting directions for future research. It is intended

that appropriate segments of the Final Report along with results of

additional research will be formally published in the reviewed

Iiteratu re.

39
