Management plan <br /> <br /> <br />Managing the broad range of analyses by a number of widely scat- <br /> <br />tered groups described in this plan will be the responsibility of the <br /> <br /> <br />Principal Scientist. One of his tasks will be to provide overall direc- <br /> <br /> <br />tion for the 1985 field program. He will also direct the cloud physics <br /> <br /> <br />and kinematics field experiments. His presence in the field will allow <br /> <br /> <br />him to assess better the nature and quality of the data collected and to <br /> <br /> <br />plan better the analysis and interpretation of these data. <br /> <br /> <br />After the field program has been completed, there will be three <br /> <br /> <br />formal meetings of the analysis groups. These meetings will take place <br /> <br />at the Utah Division of Water Resources on or about April 15, 1985, July <br /> <br /> <br />15, 1985, and October 15, 1985. The first meeting will be to review the <br /> <br /> <br />field program, confirm and assign priorities to analysis goals, deli- <br /> <br /> <br />neate analysis responsibilities, formalize requests for data, and address <br /> <br />problems of data availablility. The meeting in mid-July will be to <br /> <br /> <br />assess progress made thus far, to stimulate interaction of the par- <br /> <br />ticipants, and to review the analysis program as necessary. The last <br /> <br />meeting, in mid-October, will be to hear results of the analysis, to <br /> <br /> <br />receive a preliminary synopsis of the material to appear in the reports <br /> <br /> <br />of the various contractors and analysis groups, and to select material <br /> <br />for formal publication.
