7. Outline of final Report

The Final Report from the Utah Division of Water Resources to NOAA

will be based on an integrated analysis of the data collected in the

1985 field program.

The integrated analysis will draw together in a

coherent manner the analyses of the individual experiments. These ana-

lyses were described in Section 6. Some additional analyses may have to

be performed in order to fill in gaps in our knowledge that develop as

the work proceeds. These additional analyses will be the responsibility

of the Principal Scientist and will become part of the integrated analy-

sis. The reports of the various contractors and of the analysis groups

responsible for the individual experiments will be submitted to the Utah

Division of Water Resources by December 1, 1985.

The Principal

Scientist will then integrate this material and the additional analyses

and write the Final Report. It will be submitted to the Utah Division

of Water Resources by March 28, 1986. The Report will then be forwarded

to NOAA by the March 31, 1986 due date.

The Final Report will be organized as follows.

First will be an

Executive Summary listing the key questions of the program and sum-

marizing the answers found to the questions.

Second will be an

I ntroduction outlining the reasons for the program and the prior history

of research in the area. Third will be a summary of the operational

conduct of the field program. Fourth will be a major section of c1ima-

tological results. This will include a summary of weather types, rawin-

sonde data, and surface temperature and precipitation, a summary of pre-

cipitation echo types (PETs), and a summary of precipitation data.

Fifth will be a major section containing results of the seeding material

delivery experiments.
