Schedu!e for analysis and publications policy

Analysis will commence as soon as data are received by the groups

involved.

Significant amounts of data will become available by April

15, 1985 and some analysis should begin about then. This is also the

planned date of a meeting at the UDWR offices in Salt Lake City of the
\ analysis groups to review the field program, confirm and assign priori-
;,,\es to analysis goals, delineate analysis responsibilities, formalize
~<..

requests for data, and addl~ess problems of data availability.

Final

reports of the analysis by 'the individual groups will be received by

UDWR by December 1, 1985. This date for completion of the analysis

reports is necessary n order for UDWR to have time to prepare and sub-

mit a Final Report on the research program to NOAA by March 31, 1986.

It is expected that some of the scientific results will be formally

published in the reviewed literature. Completion of some ma!",uscripts

would be expected in the Dec:ember 1985 - March 1986 time frame. Such

manuscripts would then be submitted for any necessary internal review

within the various organizations participating in the program. The Utah

Division of Water Resources, as contracting agency, expects that all

manuscripts for formal publication will be reviewed by the Principal

Scientist before initial submission to the journals.

11
