Application for Water Efficiency Grant Program: Colorado Watershed Network <br />CWN Match: $ 9,900 (20% of hourly rate) <br />Facilitator Match: $ 42,624 (2,304 hours @ volunteer rate of <br />$18.50`)-48 hours of preparation and <br />facilitation/workshop <br />Sponsorship Match $ 20,000 (minimum 4 sponsored workshops) <br />B. Provide Materials- Coordinator and Specialist will serve as a water education <br />and Project WET materials clearinghouse for Colorado educators, providing <br />Project WET Activity Guides and supplementary materials to facilitators and <br />workshop participants. Specialist will conduct workshops using Project WET <br />and other water education materials including the new Project WET activity <br />guides: Discover A Watershed series, Healthy Water, Healthy People guide <br />and Conserve Water educators' guide. This task will be ongoing throughout <br />grant's duration. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 8,800 (200 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) - <br />Coordinator and Specialist <br />CWN Match: $ 2,200 (20% of hourly rate) <br />C. Localize Materials- Coordinator and Specialist will assist teachers and <br />facilitators in adapting Project WET resources to be regionally specific and <br />applicable. Connect facilitators and teachers with local guest speakers, field <br />trip locations and stewardship opportunities in their community. This task will <br />be ongoing throughout grant's duration. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 8,800 {200 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) - <br />Specialist and Coordinator <br />CWN Match: $ 2,200 (20% of hourly rate) <br />D. Outreach on Standards- Encourage and support school districts and <br />educators to integrate Project WET materials into their curriculum by assisting <br />with the application of lessons to the Colorado Model Content Standards. <br />Correlations of all Project WET activities to the Colorado Standards maybe <br />found on the www.coloradocorrelations.c~r~~ website and will be updated as <br />needed. This task will be ongoing throughout grant duration. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 6,072 (138 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) - <br />Coordinator <br />CWNMatch: $ 1,518 (20% of hourly rate) <br />E. Colorado Connections- Coordinator will contribute to three issues annually <br />of the Colorado Connections newsletter by writing articles, highlighting <br />appropriate water celebrations and events, and helping generate newsletter <br />themes. <br />CWCB Grunt Funds: $ 5,280 (120 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) - <br />Coordinator <br />CWN Match: $ 1,320 (20% of hourly rate) <br />Page 10 <br />
