2 curfailin uses in Colorado in an equitable manner should the terms of the

3 Colorado river compact fail to be met. The study is to be used by the
4 state to look at options openly for avoiding curtailments if possible and
5 by the state engineer to develop curtailment rules for use in water right
6 administration should curtailments become necessary under the terms of
7 the Colorado river compact.
8 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall
9 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is
10 completed..
11 SECTION 11. Restoration of flood response fund balance.
12 The state treasurer shall transfer a total of three hundred thousand dollars
13 ($300,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, from the unreserved
14 cash in the Colorado water conservation board construction fund to 1:he
15 flood response fund created in section 37-60-123.2, Colorado Revised
16 Statutes, in order to restore the unencumbered balance in the flood
17 response fund to three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000).
18 SECTION 12. Continuation of the Colorado floodplain m;~p
19 modernization program -appropriation. (1) In addition to any other
20 appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in tT1e
21 Colorado water conservation board construction fund not otherwise
22 appropriated, to the department of natural resources, for allocation to the
23 Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
24 2008, the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), or so much
25 thereof as may be necessary, in order to restore the unencumbered balance
26 in the previously appropriated map modernization account to five hundred
27 thousand dollars ($500,000) and for the board to continue to assist with
