McCaig~ <br /> <br />Re: Support of the Colorado WaterWise Council Grant Application <br /> <br />Aurora Water's mission is to enhance and protect the quality of life for Aurora Citizens by providing quality <br />water, sewer and storm drain services in a manner that balances social, environmental, and economic needs. In <br />performing our mission, we fully embrace the importance of water conservation, water use efficiency and wise <br />water use in OUt community's efforts to manage our most precious water resources now and into the future. <br /> <br />Our organization applauds the CWCB for developing, maintaining and administrating its water conservation <br />and water efficiency grant programs, and we will continue to show our support for these important state <br />programs into the future. ill addition, we recognize the importance of communications and technical assistance <br />in helping to promote and support more meaningful water conservation statewide, which is the underlying goal <br />of the CWCB grant programs. <br /> <br />To help move water conservation to the next: level, our organization fully supports the project for an Executive <br />Director being proposed by the Colorado WaterWise Council (CWWC) to the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board. Aurora Water will provide 102.5 hours of staff time over the 2 year grant period for Aurora Water's <br />Water Conservation Supervisor and Senior Program Specialist to assist CWWC in its endeavors. lhis support is <br />equivalent to $4,100.
