It ,viII be made available public <br />comment b'eginning on February 13th and continuing through April 14, 2008. The public hearing <br />for final approval by Brighton City Council is scheduled for April 15, 2008 at the City Council <br />Meeting. The Final Plan will be submitted to CWCB for review and approval shortly thereafter. <br /> <br />Progress Successes and Preliminary Findings <br /> <br />The Final Draft Water Conservation Plan has been reviewed by the Public Works Department, <br />the Parks Department and the City Manager. Based on their reviews, it appears that the City will <br />attempt to save 8 to 10 percent of its 2017 water demands through a set of water conservation <br />measures and programs designed to reduce residential, commercial and irrigation water use. The <br />expected water savings will reduce future water development costs by $13 to $15 million. <br />
