Water Supply Reserve Account- Grant Application Form
Form Revised May 2007

5. Please summarize the proposed scope of work. Please refer to Part 2 of the Criteria and Guidance document
for detailed requirements. On the following page there is an example format for the Scope of Work. You can
use the example format or your own format, provided that comparable. information is included.

The scope of work should outline by task how the water activity will be accomplished. It is important that the
scope of work detail the specific steps, activities/procedures that will be followed to accomplish ilie water
activity and the specific products/deliverables that will be accomplished. The scope of work should include
but not be limited to: task description, key personnel, budget, schedule and deliverables and the final
report/project documentation upon completion of the water activity.

I. Task 1

. Description of task:

Wildland Analysis: A wildland analysis for the proposed reservoir site and the
Salt Lick Gulch watershed is required to estimate the hydrologic yield of the
watershed after the USFS completes the planned tree cutting operations of
these areas which could start as early as 2008. The tree cutting work will
dramatically alter the quantity and peaking of storm runoff and the study is
required to determine how much water will be available for the reservoir project
and to estimate accurate storm hydrographs for use in the probable maximum
flood study for the reservoir enlargement project.

. Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and
identify who will undertake the task:

The ODR Group will hire Tetratech RMC engineering company to analyze and
study the Salt Lick Gulch watershed using currently accepted standard hydrology
and engineering practices to investigate and estimate the potential change to
storm runoff in both watersheds due to the pending USFS tree cutting project.

. Description of the major deliverablesjproducts that will be produced upon
successful completion of the task:

Tertratech RMC will produce a final report outlining the wildland characteristics
of both the Salt Lick Gulch watershed and the watershed which is tributary to
Old Dillon Reservoir.

8
