?Identify goals and techniques to achieve the desired restoration outcome and develop concept details for design. This task includes consideration of improvements for the purpose of habitat improvements, diversion improvements, and reconstruction for increasing depth of flows under low flow conditions. ?Prepare plan view, profile, and typical section engineering drawings as appropriate that illustrate the general location, extent, and configuration of design components. ?Using the hydraulic analyses prepared in task 3.4.2 determine the final channel cross section, slope and conveyance. Determine flooding potential for the 100-year event for the proposed-project conditions. The purpose of this analysis is to evaluate the impacts of the proposed restoration and to insure the restoration does not cause flooding of existing structures and roads under proposed- project conditions that might not be occurring under existing conditions. ?Identify staging areas, temporary work areas, disposal area, construction roads etc. ?Identify utilities impacted by the designs. ?Address the potential permitting requirements. ?Develop quantity estimates for the selected plan. ?Document the design methods and criteria used. ?Prepare a narrative describing the project area design components. Discuss the types and quantities of design materials, including vegetation. ?Prepare conceptual construction cost estimates ?Coordinate with the County to identify required easements. 3.5 Report Documentation and Recommendations. This task will include recommendations for final design and implementation of proposed restoration components. This task for will also include a preliminary cost analysis for services and a conceptual cost analysis for construction. 3.6 Meetings and Coordination: Throughout this effort we anticipate the following: ?Two meetings with Grand County and/or the management committee. 5
