<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />An additional step in evaluating the third objective <br />was to install a network of indium oxide generators corre- <br />sponding to the already existing AgI generators. This step <br />was taken to begin development of an index of seeding effec- <br />tiveness based on trace chemistry. Indium oxide aerosol was <br />chosen as the control tracer in this study. All other <br />characteristics of the indium oxide aerosols are very simi- <br />lar to the ice nucleating AgI aerosols. The indium oxide <br />aerosols were to be released at the same time AgI releases <br />were normally made. <br /> <br />This report summarizes the silver and indium analyses <br />of samples collected during the 1983 winter season. <br />
