Also, Triview Metropolitan District (Triview) is within the corporate limits ofthe Town <br />of Monument; however, Triview is responsible for current and futun: water utili~y infrastructure <br /> <br />, <br />and water supply. : <br />I <br />I <br />Currently, the EPCW A estimates that there are 25,000 people in EI Paso County I who are served <br />by individual wells for water supply. The exact locations and distribution of these people are <br />. 1 <br />unknown at this time as are their current water demands. ! <br />I <br /> <br />Current annual water demands in El Paso County, including the CSU, as swJmarized by the <br />I <br />EPCW A, are estimated to be on the order of 89,600 acre-feet (ac-.ft). Based iupon a County <br />I <br />population equivalent for this demand of approximately 457,000 (GMS, Inc., 1999), this gives a <br />current unit water demand of approximately 175 gallons per capita per day (gp~d). Population <br />I <br />equivalents for commercial and industrial water demand were provided by EPCW A (GMS, Inc, <br />I <br />I <br />1999). : <br />I <br /> <br />Based on the data and information on current water usage and population eqUiVallnts supplied by <br />the EPCW A (GMS, Inc., 1999), we have estimated the per capita water usagJ for each water <br />provider in EI Paso County.
