<br />2.0 AREA STUDIED <br /> <br />2.1 Scope of Study <br /> <br />This FIS report covers the geographic area of Fremont County, Colorado, <br />including the incorporated communities listed in Section 1.1. The areas studied <br />by detailed methods were selected with priority given to all known flood hazards <br />and areas of projected development or proposed construction through the Cities <br />of Canon City and Florence and upon the extent and validity of available existing <br />hydrologic and hydraulic data for the unincorporated areas of Fremont County. <br /> <br />All, or portions of, the flooding sources listed in Table 1, "Detailed Studied <br />Streams", were studied by detailed methods.
