This FIS also incorporates the determinations of letters issued by FEMA
resulting in map changes (Letter of Map Revisions [LOMR], Letter of Map
Revision - based on Fill [LOMR-F], and Letter of Map Amendment [LOMA])
LOMR 02-08-269P, issued on December 2, 2002, went effective on March 19,
2003, and extended the detailed flooding for Oak Creek in Fremont County and
the Town of Williamsburg. LOMR 98-08-334P, effective on January 18, 2000,
modified the extent of the floodplain for an unnamed tributary effecting the City
of Canon City and Fremont County to reflect the effects of construction of a
detention basin between South Street and Washington Street, a culvert beneath
South Street, and more detailed topographic information in that area.
