-

i

I
I
I

· Completeness of preliminary design and suppprt documents.
· Spot checks for interdisciplinary coordination~

6. REVIEW PROCESS

The Quality Control review process is ongoing during the Feasibility Study. It will
be necessary to closely coordinate with the ITR teain as soon as one has been assigned.
At the outset, coordination with the ITR team will Qover a review of the Project
Management Plan, preliminary data, analysis and models to be employed (or review of
completed analysis), critical study assumptions, and discussion of other critical aspects of
our study approach. In addition to this initial coordination, two main ITR periods will
occur. The first review period will occur upon the availability of an initial preliminary
draft Feasibility Study/Environmental Impact Statement (FSfEIS), and will conclude just
prior to releasing the Final Draft FSfEIS for public and agency review. Upon completion
of public review, a second ITR period will take place in order to allow the ITR team a
chance to comment on how the FS/EIS has accounted for public comment, as well as to
allow for further coordination prior to finalizing the FS/EIS.

7. REVIEW COST***Currently under revision
The current working draft estimated cost of the ITR is about $65,000. This estimate will
be reflected in the PMP overall study estimate when updated. It should be noted that
some ITR has already been completed to date. Specifically, we have had some ITR
completed for the hydrology work to date, including review by the Bureau of Rec of the
Antecedent Flood Study, and a review by the Portland District regarding other
hydrological technical work. It is expected that the ITR work completed to date will be
sufficient, and the relationships maintained for further review efforts.

8.
