Castle Rock Synthetic Turf Project <br />Application for Water Efficiency Grant <br />Castle Rock and DCSD will review and provide feedback on all designs and <br />construction specifications. Final design approval by both Castle Rock and DCSD will <br />be necessary prior to construction. <br />De liverub les <br />A draft and final design incorporating all architectural, civil engineering, and <br />irrigation components and construction specifications will be developed as part of <br />this task. <br />Task 2 -Contractor Selection and Project Management <br />Purpose <br />This task involves the development of bid documents, contract documents, and other <br />documentation necessary to facilitate project cash flow and construction. All other <br />project management-related activities including coordination among parties, <br />construction ittispections, and other activities necessary to ensure the success of the <br />project are also included. <br />Roles and Responsibilities <br />Castle Rock will be responsible for the bidding process including the preparation of <br />the bidding documents, selection of a contractor(s), and preparation of the contract <br />documents. Castle Rock will also be responsible for all other project management <br />related activities including coordination with parties involved, construction <br />inspections, contractor(s) payments, and the administration of DCSD funds and <br />potential grant monies. <br />Deliverables <br />Castle Rock will develop all necessary bid documents, contract documents, and any <br />other documentation needed to facilitate payment and construction efforts. <br />Task 3 -Construction <br />Purpose <br />This task includes work by all contractor(s) related activities necessary to complete <br />the construction of the Synthetic Turf Project. This includes mobilization of the <br />equipment, grading, utility connections, site preparation, installation of the synthetic <br />turf field, and demobilization. <br />Roles and Responsibilities <br />The contractor(s) selected by Castle Rock will be responsible for completing all <br />construction related activities including mobilization, grading, utility connections, <br />installation of the synthetic turf field, and accomplishment of inspections and <br />demobilization. <br />14 <br />
