"I he State of Colorado needs to have a plan for curtailing its uses of Colorado River 1~'ater in an orderly and equitable frshion should the need arise. 1~hc ('requency and potential amounts ofcurtailment will be identified as part of the ongoing Colorado River Water Availability study. The purpose of this effort will be to locate the wafer rights subject to curtailment, identify the issues associated with curtailment and evaluate potential methods of curtailment.
