SWSI Phase 2 Scope of Work <br />Approach <br />The Consultant will facilitate the SWSI portion of the CWCB meetings to discuss <br />broader statewide issues, identify potential conflicts among basin objectives and <br />strategies, and to develop consensus on project issues. This will be accomplished by <br />performing the following tasks in association with these meetings: <br />^ Receive information from TRT and BRT meetings and discuss project goals, <br />methodology, and status <br />^ Develop strategies for achieving statewide objectives <br />^ Provide input on the assembly of supply options and strategies into alternatives <br />^ Evaluation of alternatives based on established objectives and performance <br />measures developed in SWSI <br />Assumptions/Basis of Costs <br />^ Consultant will conduct meetings on an every other month basis assuming a total <br />of eight meetings <br />^ Each CWCB/SWSI meeting will last approximately 3 to 4 hours in duration <br />^ Meeting attendees will include one to two Consultant team members <br />Summary of Deliverables <br />^ Provide assistance to CWCB for preparation of Board packets and memos <br />^ Memorandum summarizing resolutions associated with supply options, alternative <br />development, and evaluation of water supply options from a statewide perspective <br />Task 1.6 CWCB Steering Committee Meetings <br />Purpose <br />The CWCB steering committee will serve as the primary technical team associated <br />with the project and as the primary policy-level advisory group. <br />Approach <br />Consultant and CWCB will conduct meetings to present project status, discuss <br />technical issues associated with the study, and establish technical and strategic <br />direction needed to conduct the study. This will be accomplished by performing the <br />following tasks in association with the steering committee meetings: <br />^ Communicate project goals, methodology, and status <br />^ Discuss project objectives and make recommendations based on information <br />received from CWCB, the TRT and BRT meetings, and the general public <br />^ Identify and assist in resolving current issues and challenges <br />`~ ~ <br />\\DENSVR01\SWSI\PHASE 2 WORK PLAN\SWSI PHASE 2 SOW 6-10-OS.DOC <br />
