SWSI Phase 2 Scope of Work
The overall flow of information for the study process is depicted generally in the
following diagram and is described in more detail in the following pages.
Task 1.1 Project Kickoff Activities
Purpose
The project kickoff activities are intended to establish effective communications from
the very beginning. The project goals, processes, and outcomes will be presented in
the early stages to clarify, document, and communicate project expectations. To
accomplish this, the Consultant team will develop with the CWCB a unifying vision
for SWSI Phase 2.
Approach
Consultant will hold a project kickoff meeting to be attended by the CWCB Steering
Committee and Consultant project team members. The project kickoff task will
include ahalf-day facilitated Project Quality Management (PQM) session to be held at
CDM in Denver. As part of the PQM session, the Consultant will work with the
CWCB to further define the project boundaries, goals, team member roles and
responsibilities, execution processes, and success factors necessary to meet critical
paths and schedules for the overall project. Participants should leave the meeting with
an understanding and appreciation of others' current thoughts, concerns, current
plans, and intended goals of the SWSI.
Summary of Deliverables
The Consultant will prepare a draft meeting summary. Following the CWCB's review
and comment, the Consultant will develop a final meeting summary documenting
meeting issues, conclusions, goals of the study, and critical success factors.
`~ ~
\\DENSVR01\SWSI\PHASE 2 WORK PLAN\SWSI PHASE 2 SOW 6-10-OS.DOC
