<br />before funds are made available and applies to any entity delivering more than 2000 <br />AF of water per annum. The loan approval is good for three years. The contract <br />dictates how long repayment is left open. A loan applicant must write a Loan <br />Feasibility Study and may be prepared by any consultant and/or project sponsor. <br />There are examples of this on the CWCB website: www.cwcb.state.co.us/finance. <br />Kirk noted that there is an actual application that is part of the appendix of the overall <br />application. What is most important is doing a good job on the Loan Feasibility <br />Study. Go to the finance section tab in the CWCB web site to obtain the application <br />and more information on the Loan Feasibility Study. Look under Water Project Loan <br />Program. <br /> <br />Tracy asked for a show of hands of how many water users will apply to the loan <br />program. He noted that likely six or so of the water users will be interested, including <br />Brighton, Parker, Roxborough, Castle Rock and Perry Park. Katie Fendel asked could <br />the water users come up with one overall figure that is expected to be requested of <br />CWCB. Tracy noted that the state will produce (three or four months out) sample <br />commitment letters for O&M costs. He said we may need an Operations <br />subcommittee later on. <br /> <br />CWCB Chatfield Resolution of Support <br />Dan reported that the CWCB updated its resolution of support for the Chatfield <br />Reservoir Reallocation Project at its last monthly meeting. We now have a singed <br />copy to put in the Chatfield book. (We also obtained a signed copy of the General <br />Assembly resolution passed this session.) <br /> <br />SPWRAP <br />Dan commented that the Water Conservation Board wants to see as many groups as <br />possible participate in the South Platte Water Related Activities Program (SPWRAP). <br />Tracy asked the water users which ones were planning to participate: Brighton is <br />looking at it. Perry Park isn't certain at this point. State Parks needs to confirm but as <br />a state agency, it is already involved. Roxborough is looking at it. Centennial and <br />Parker will participate. Castle Rock is interested in participating. Tracy noted that <br />the deadline for joining will be announced at one of the upcoming TetraTech <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Action Item: <br />All water users will be required to enter into a long-term relationship with SPWRAP <br />to allow for management offuture depletions and efficts of storage or the Platte River <br />Recovery Implementation Program. <br /> <br />Coalition Funding Status/Local Agreements <br />Jeff Shoemaker presented an update on the status of funding for the Coalition. <br />Downstream users Aurora, Central Colorado Water Conservancy District and Western <br />Mutual Ditch Company have remitted their 2007 payments. Brighton's payment is <br />expected by July 1. Instream users: the City and County of Denver, Metro <br />Wastewater, Littleton and Greenway have remitted payments. Denver Water's <br />payment is expected shortly.
