SWSI estimated legal water availability to Colorado under Compact ranges up to 3.855 million af per year.

Deliverable
: A memorandum, for distribution to BRT members, summarizing the
me thodology, assumptions and results of the comparative analyses performed in
this study of “Colorado’s remaining Compact Entitlement”.

Preliminary Assessments of Phase I Water Availability
9. – Additional validation
of Phase I activities will occur through pr esentation of a number of simula tions
that demonstrate water availability with Phase I water demands and Phase I
alternate hydrologic traces.

a. Formulation of scenarios of Phase I Demands and Alternate Hydrologies –
The consultant will formulate up to ten sc enarios of Phase I demands, and
Phase I recent historic and alternate hydrologies.

b. Water Availability Simulations – Prepare water availability model and
perform simulations for the ten scenarios.

c. Summarization of Water Availability Simulations – Prepare ta bular and
graphical summaries of flow and water availability results at key flow
stations (see task 4.a). Summaries will include comparisons of modeled
depletions and flows with range of Colorado’s allowable depletions and
flows (from Task 8) and include modeled depletions for general priority
classes of modeled water rights.
Colorado River Water Availability Study Scope 14 October 1 9 , 2007
