Water Supply Reserve Account (WSRA) <br />Rick Bro~~~n: Updated the IBCC on the Criteria and Guidelines. Each year in October the IBCC <br />and CWCB review the Criteria and Guidelines. There is a meeting this Wednesday, October <br />24ti' of the IBCC/CWCB Criteria and Guidelines sub-committee. Rick handed out an email <br />memo from September 27t1i outlining the issues the sub-commttee will address. If you would <br />like to add anything, email Rick Brown. <br />Jinn Isgat°: SB-179 was designed to help umnet needs. Need to remember this. <br />Carl Trick: What about reallocation of money from statewide to basin accoLU7t? <br />RickBro~~~n: This was taken care of at the July IBCC meeting. <br />Ray Wright: In the Rio Grande, there was not a great opportunity to tie back to SWSI. <br />Decisions and Major Points: The sub-committee will meet on October 24t1i and address the <br />issues outlined in the memo. Any proposed changes to the Criteria and Guidelines will be <br />brought back to the IBCC at their next meeting. <br />Colorado Basin Roundtable Presentation <br />Dave Merritt and members of the Colorado Basin (Lane Wyatt -Summit County, Greg Trainer - <br />Grand Junction) presented Colorado Basin issues. Their presentation is available on the website. <br />QUESTIONS: <br />Ray Wright: Mentioned impact on instream flows from agriculture to golf course. Yet <br />established producers cannot expand. Have you looked at shift in land use on instream flows? <br />Dave Merritt: Have not looked at this yet. <br />Harris Sherman: Do you want to comment on the Wolcott/Green Mountain proposal? <br />Dave Merritt: The Colorado Roundtable will discuss at their meeting after this. <br />Dan Birch: Significant advantages for West Slope using Green Mountain pump back (i.e.: <br />Grand County and levels in Dillon Reservoir). There are also impacts: Phosphorous loading in <br />Dillon, TDS in Grand Valley, no consensus on West Slope on this project. <br />Stan C'azier: There are no upstream benefits to Grand and Sununit County without some more <br />Denver Water Board concessions. <br />Harris Sherman: Does anyone want to comment on the Flaming Gorge Project? <br />Dave Merritt: Creates a very large demand for water. <br />Eric Hecox: How do you deal with the growth issue in the Colorado Basin? <br />
