OilJ3?3

in SNWS's bank.

Fallow, "MWD scheduled"--Banked amount is MWDBNK in CONUSE.DAT.
others scheduled use in CONUSE.DAT is reduced every year and put
in MWD's bank.

Fallow, "CAP scheduled"--Banked amount is CAPBNK in CONUSE.DAT.
others scheduled use in CONUSE.DAT is reduced every year and put
in CAP's bank.

Index Trigger, "Sacro. Deposit"--Trigger for performing MWD's
indexed conservation banking deposit and use reduction.

Index Trigger, "Sacro. Withdraw"--Trigger for performing MWD's
indexed conservation and fallow banking withdrawal.

Index Trigger; "Salt; Deposit"--Trigger for performing CAP, SNWS,
and Tribes indexed conservation banking deposit and use
reduction.

Index Trigger, "Salt Withdraw"--Trigger for performing Tribes
indexed conservation banking withdrawal only. SNWS does not use
a withdrawal trigger and always diverts banked water at surplus
schedule each year if available. CAP withdraws banked water only
during shortage to meet their normal schedule.

Option List, "Top Bank"--If checked, then banks are rE~duced by
any excess flows to Mexico.

Option List, "Middle Bank"--If checked, then Top banks are
reduced by excess flows to.Mexico and amount is carried as a
middle bank amount that is used before the remaining ~~op bank.
The amount of the middle bank used is zeroed out should excess to
Mexico occur or is paid back should Mead drop to within 20 feet
of the shortage trigger.

Option List, "Groundwater Bank"--If checked, the banked water is
banked in groundwater by diverting the amount banked by CAP. The
banked water is retrieved by CAP reducing diversion by the amount
banked and making a similar amount available to the banking user.
CAP use is made whole by using groundwater instead of Colorado
River water.

Option List, "Bottom"--The bottom bank is the same as a top bank
but the bank is not reduced during excess to Mexico or by
evaporation. Use of this bank will have negative impacts on 3rd
parties because of increased system losses and reduced system
storage capacity. .

Recover Fraction--The fraction of the amount put into the bank
they may be withdrawn. Arizona law requires that only 90% of
water banked in groundwater may later be withdrawn.

23
