I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

000322

SCREEN 3, Banking Data

This screen only appears if a banking option was checked on
Screen 2. Otherwise, no banking is performed.

Allotments, "Start Contents"--Beginning bank contents for each.

Allotments, "Max Bank Size"--Maximum bank contents for each.
Fallowed or conserved water will not be credited to the bank
above these values. If a maximum bank contents for Ot:hers is
entered and "Adjust Other AG to Pattern" is checked on Screen 5,
then use by Others above schedule is allowed but must be paid
back if Mead should drop to within 20 feet of the shortage
trigger. The Other's bank is considered system water and does
not effect reservoir operations.

Indexed conservation, "MWD"--Amount by which MWD's scheduled
diversion is reduced if SACRO index in HYDRO.DAT exceeds Index
Trigger, "Sacro. Deposit". This assumes that in years of excess
water in the California State Water Project, MWD would make use
of these excess waters in lieu of Colorado River Water and bank
the amount not diverted. When SACRO index is below Index
Trigger, "Sacro. Withdraw" then MWD makes use of their bank at
their surplus schedule.

Indexed Conservation, "CAP"--Amount by which CAP's sch.eduled
diversion is reduced if SALT index in HYDRO.DAT exceeds Index
Trigger, "Salt Deposit". This assumes that in years of excess
water in the Salt River Project, CAP would make use of these
excess waters in lieu of Colorado River Water and bank the amount
not diverted. CAP's bank is used to cover shortages up to normal
schedule.

Indexed Conservation, "SNWS"--Amount by which SNWS's scheduled
diversion is reduced if SALT index in HYDRO.DAT exceeds Index
Trigger, "Salt Deposit". This assumes that in years of excess
water in the Salt River Project, SNWS would somehow make use of
another water source in lieu of Colorado River Water and bank the
amount not diverted. SNWS uses any available water in their bank
to meet their surplus schedule every year.

Indexed Conservation, "Tribe"--Amount by which Tribe's scheduled
diversions are reduced if SALT index in HYDRO.DAT exceeds Index
Trigger, "Salt Deposit". This assumes that in years of excess
water in the Salt River Project, the Tribes would somehow make
use of another water source in lieu of Colorado River Water and
bank the amount not diverted. When SALT index is below Index
Trigger, "Salt Withdraw" then the tribes increase their schedule
by 10% and withdraw that 10% increase from their bank.

Fallow, "SNWS scheduled"--Banked amount is SNWSBNK in CONUSE.DAT.
Others scheduled use in CONUSE.DAT is reduced every year and put

22
