<br />~j,tl <br />~~. <br /> <br />. \l" <br /> <br />August 30, 2007 <br /> <br />Letter of Commitment <br />GreeneO Best Management Practices (BMP) Expansion Project <br /> <br />Donna Pacetti <br />Denver Water <br />1600 W. 12th Ave <br />Denver CO 80204 <br /> <br />Dear Donna, <br /> <br />This letter of is to infonn you that in the coming days, the Green Industries of Colorado <br />(GrecnCO) will be submitting a grant application to the Colorado Water Conservation Board- <br />Office of Drought Planning and Conservation for a water efficiency grant to ftmd a project to <br />expand and revise its Green Industry Best Management Practices (BMP) for the Conservation and <br />Water Quality Protection Practices in Colorado. <br /> <br />GreeneO's goal for this project is to build upon the ongoing success of the program to <br />reach not on ly its industry, but also a wide array of affected parties and stakeholders. If the grant <br />is approved, GreenCO will need your help to begin work on its BMP Manual and Training <br />Program to add more technical substance, and begin identifying new practices to correlate with <br />the with the "green movement." Indusrry expertise will be vital in identifying new BMPs to <br />address topics such as sustainability, energy, reuse, recycling, alternative fuels, and <br />transportation, among others. <br /> <br />Serving on behalf of Denver Water, you are invited to participate on the BMP Expansion <br />Advisory Committee. As a committee member, you would be asked to attend approximately six <br />meetings beginning in October 2007 and ending in late January 2008. All we ask is that you <br />solicit input from your peers, lend your expertise, and help to bring this important project to <br />fruition. <br /> <br />If you are interested in paI1icipating, a letter of commitment is required as part of the <br />grant approval process.
