Dear Curt,

This letter of is to inform you that in the coming days, the Green Industries of Colorado
(GreenCO) will be submitting a grant application to the Colorado Water Conservation Board-
Office of Drought Planning and Conservation for a water efficiency grant to fund a project to
expand and revise its Green Industry Best Management Practices (BMP) for the Conservation and
Water Quality Protection Practices in Colorado.

GreenCO's goal for this project is to build upon the ongoing success of the program to
reach not only its industry, but also a wide array of affected parties and stakeholders. lfthe grant
is approved, GreenCO will need your help to begin work on its BMP Manual and Training
Program to add more technical substance, and begin identifying new practices to correlate with
the with the "green movement." Industry expertise will be vital in identifying new BMPs to
address topics such as sustainability, energy, reuse, recycling, alternative fuels, and
transportation, among others.

Serving on behalf of CSU Cooperative Extension (Western Slope), you are invited to
participate on the BMP Expansion Advisory Committee. As a committee member, you would be
asked to attend approximately six meetings beginning in October 2007 and ending in late January
2008. All we ask is that you solicit input from your peers, lend your expertise, and help to bring
this important project to fruition.

If you are interested in participating, a letter of commitment is required as part of the
