UPDATE ON STATUS OF 2008 ISF RECOMMENDATIONS AND FIELD
INVESTIGATIONS: At the February 2007 workshop, staff received 30 instream flow
recommendations from the Division of Wildlife, Bureau of Land Management and Trout
Unlimited. Due to limited staff resources, the Board, at its March 2007 meeting, prioritized
which segments staff should work on first. The following table identifies that prioritization and
the work completed to date. Staff is currently performing water availability analyses on each of
the recommended segments. For those segments that are moved forward, staff intends to
complete its analyses and provide the Board with summary notebooks in advance of the January
2008 meeting which is the earliest date that these recommendations may be brought to the Board
so that it can form its intent to appropriate. Initial contacts have been made with stakeholders
and stakeholder meetings are planned for late September and early October.
