EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS - PROCESS WATER DISCHARGE <br /> <br />(This section (l.B) only applies to facilities with a discharge of process water.) <br /> <br />1. General Lirnitatior~ <br /> <br />a. There shall be no discharge of sanitary wastewaters from toilets or related facilities. <br /> <br />b. There shall be no discharge of floating solids or visible foam. <br /> <br />c. No chemicals are to be added to the discharge unless the permit issuing authority grants permission for the use of a specific <br />chemical. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional limitations and monitoring requirements may be imposed. <br /> <br />d. Bulk storag(: structures for petroleum products and other chemicals shall have adequate protection to prevent any reaSonable <br />loss of the material from entering discharged waters or waters of the State. <br /> <br />2. Industry-Specific Numeric Limitations <br /> <br />Beginning October I, 2002 and lasting through September 30, 2002, th(: pennittee is authorized to discharge from the process water <br />outfalls, under the industrial category below, as identified in their pennitcertification. <br /> <br />In accordance with the Water Quality Control Commission Regulations for Effluent Limitations, Regulation 62, 5 C.C.R 1002-62 <br />and State Discharge Permit System Regulations, Section 61.8 (2), 5 C.C.R 1002-61, the pennitted discharge shall not contain <br />effluent parameter concentrations, which exceed the following limitations: <br /> <br />a. Mineral minilng and processing point source category - 40 CFR 436 - subpart B (crushed stone), C (construction sand and <br />gravel), R (pbosphate rock) - and all other industrial facilities covered under SIC Code 14, (except graphite and those <br />facilities specifically listed in paragraph c, below), and concrete and asphalt batch plants located at any facility otherwise <br />covered by this general permit: <br /> <br />Flow, MGD Report <br />pH, suo (minimum-maximwn) NA <br />Total Suspended Solids, mgII 30 <br />Oil & Grease, mg/l NA <br />Total Dissolved Solids, mgII · NA <br />Total Phosphorus (as P) mgII ..
