Flow Measuring Device <br /> <br />!fnot already a part of the permitted facility, within ninety (90) days after the effective date of the certification, a flow measwing <br />device sball be installed to give representative values of effluent quantities at the respective discharge points. A flow measuring <br />device will be applic.'1ble at all designated discharge points of process water. The flow may also be determined by using the pump <br />capacity multiplied by the length of time the pump is operated. if the accuracy requirement (see below) is met. <br /> <br />Wbenthe facility is not operating, and no discharge is occurring (e.g., if it is shut down for the winter), a flow measwing device is <br />not required to be on site. <br /> <br />At the request of the Water Quality Control Division, or the Environmental Protection Agency, the permittee shall show proof of the <br />accuracy of any flow-xneasuringdevice used in obtaining data submitted in the monitoring report. The flow-measuring device must <br />indicate values withinl ten (10) percent of the actual flow being discharged <br /> <br />C. EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND CONDmONS - STORMW A TER DISCHARGE <br /> <br />II (This section (I.C) applies to all facilities with a potential discharge ofstonnwater.) <br /> <br />1. General Limitations <br /> <br />a. Stormwater di:.charges from the industrial activity shall not cause or threaten to cause pollution, contamination, or <br />degradation of any State waters. <br /> <br />b. There shall be JIlO discharge of sanitary wastewaters from toilets or related facilities. <br /> <br />c. No chemicals are to be added to the discharge unless the permit issuing authority grants permission for the use of a specific <br />chemical. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional limitations and monitoring requirements may be imposed. <br /> <br />d. Bulk storage structures for petroleum products and other chemicals shall have adequate protection to prevent any reasonable <br />loss of the material from entering discharged waters or waters of the State. <br /> <br />e. All dischargers must comply with the lawful requirements of counties; drainage districts and other state or local agencies <br />regarding any discharges of stormwater to storm drain systems or other watercourses under their jurisdiction. <br />
