<br />Center for Dam Safety, Specialty Services and Oversight; (2) Center for Data Collection, <br />Design and Construction; and (3) Center for Planning and Environmental Services. <br />Workload planning would take place between the program office and coordination <br />group and distributed to the appropriate service center (responsible for any <br />outsourcing), again under a team leader. It is the most centralized alternative, with all <br />staff in a particular discipline, performing a particular function, reporting to one center, <br />rather than duplicating technical abilities at multiple centers. Comments on the <br />alternatives may be submitted, by June 4, by going to the website. <br /> <br />-STATEWIDE- <br /> <br />Colorado Foundation for Water Education Executive Director Resigns: <br />Don Glaser, Executive Director for the Colorado Foundation for Water Education <br />(CFWE), resigned his position effective June 29, 2007. The CFWE Board held its <br />quarterly meeting in Gunnison, June 24, 2007 and discussed options for short-term and <br />permanent replacement. A subcommittee of Board members was formed to identify <br />alternatives and prepare for an Executive Director search. Veva McCaig, CWCB staff, <br />and newly appointed CFWE Board Member is on the subcommittee and will work with <br />CFWE to ensure that day to day operations will be maintained in the interim. The <br />meeting agenda also reviewed the CFWE/s FY08 budget and FY08 Scope of Work for its <br />contract with the CWCB. The emphasis on the upcoming fiscal year work product <br />deliverables will be the CFWE/s publications - Headwaters Magazine and Citizen <br />Guide. The Water Leaders Course will also proceed, as well as one of the CFWE/s <br />largest fundraising events - the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament to be held July 20, 2007 at <br />the Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, CO. <br /> <br />OWCDP Staff Participates in Regional Water Festivals: The Office of Water <br />Conservation and Drought Planning (OWCDP) participated in four Children/s Water <br />Festivals in May. The grades ranged from third to fifth grades. Our activity was titled <br />"EVERY DROP COUNTS: BE WATER SMARTI.
