Involved in a lot <br />of watershed management issues with Recreation and water supply mix. Attending <br />meeting to learn more about the process to see what methods and tools will be <br />utilized. <br />· SeEtta Moss: Representative from Arkansas Basin roundtable. Interested in seeing <br />that important bird areas are protected and also need to include Audubon water bird <br />coverages. Birding is a major industry in Colorado and is economically very <br />important. <br />· Steve Glazer: Gunnison Basin Environmental Representative on Gunnison Basin <br />Roundtable. Would like to see a balanced approach to properly functioning <br />ecosystems. Help mesh for nonconsumptive uses. <br />· Rita Crumpton. Wants to see where nonconsumptive needs are and integrate them <br />into a balance with consumptive needs. <br />· Sara Duncan. There needs to be some certainly in establishing nonconsumptive uses. <br />There is a need for objective standards and procedures. There are solutions beyond <br />just adding water to a stream such as habitat restoration and timing of flows. <br />· Margaret Medallin. Here to listen and interested in new thinking regarding these <br />Issues. <br />· Crystal Young. Here to provide citizens input. Would like to see an approach based <br />on real environmental needs. <br />· Keith Riley. Here to listen and explore opportunities to meet growing water demands. <br />· Butch Clarke. There are 230 acres in Federal Wetland Reserve System and they need <br />consideration in nonconsumptive use. Want to maintain integrity of system to cope <br />with extreme events to help with global warming. Use natural systems to protect from <br />flooding and water storage purification. <br />· Gary Barber. Member of Arkansas Basin Roundtable and needs assessment <br />subcommittee. Leading Fountain Creek vision task force and wants to come up with <br />outline on Fountain Creek of both nonconsumptive and consumptive needs. <br />· Rob White. Wants to continue to work cooperatively to deliver water to citizens in a <br />way that helps the environment. <br />· Rick Brown. Need to make wise decisions about resource management. Data needs to <br />be consistent and defensible. At the end of the process we should be able to <br />understand nonconsumptive and consumptive needs assessments. Need to focus on <br />protection of resources and not interests. <br />· JeffBaessler. Would like to see this process work with the CWCB instream flow <br />program for new acquisitions. <br />· Linda Bassi: Would like to see the process integrated with the CWCB instream flow <br />program and work with water users to keep water in streams. <br />· Todd Doherty. Would like to see this group address a common technical platform and~develop a process that is defensible that has wide spread consensus. <br />
