. . . . . . . . . . . all ongoing work, to review all pay estimates or monthly statements, and to recommend to DISTRICT the disposition of all pay estimates and monthly statements. The primary purpose of inspection is to determine, on an ongoing basis, whether or not CONTRACTOR's work is adequate to meet the requirements set forth in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. CONTRACTOR shall notify DISTRICT within two business days when an area has been completed and is ready for inspection. DISTRICT shall inspect said area within two business days of notification by CONTRACTOR. DISTRICT will notify CONTRACTOR within two business days of inspection if areas are not accepted. CONTRACTOR shall have three business days to correct the unaccepted areas and shall notify DISTRICT when said areas have been corrected. If CONTRACTOR fails to correct the unaccepted areas or to notify DISTRICT within this stated time period, then payment for the work performed on said unaccepted area shall be deducted from the CONTRACTOR's payment. DISTRICT shall then re-inspect within two business days of this notification. Up to two re-inspections will be allotted per area per incident of non-compliance. If the final re-inspection yields an unaccepted condition, then payment for the work performed on said unaccepted area shall be deducted from the CONTRACTOR's payment. In performing inspections, D~STRICT shall prepare a written inspection report and shall identify which inspected areas are accepted or unaccepted. One copy of said inspection report will be given to crew if located in the field and one copy will be sent to the CONTRACTOR's office. C. Work Schedule CONTRACTOR shall submit to DISTRICT, on a weekly basis, schedules which shall show the order in which CONTRACTOR proposes to carryon the work, with dates when CONTRACTOR will initiate work on a segment of the project, and estimated rates of completion of the several segments and parts of the work. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for notifying DISTRICT one (1) business day in advance of starting any work not covered in the above submitted schedule. CONTRACTOR shall provide to DISTRICT updated schedules as requested by DISTRICT and within one business day ofDISTRICT's,request. All work and services performed by CONTRACTOR hereunder shall be timely and diligently performed in accordance with the Basic Contract Schedule for this contract and in accordance with the schedules submitted to DISTRICT on a weekly basis. CONTRACTOR shall complete all services with the highest degree of competence and care, and in accordance with the accepted standards for professional services of a similar nature. Once CONTRACTOR has begun work on a DISTRICT project, CONTRACTOR shall not interrupt work under this CONTRACT to work elsewhere. 15
