suggests a one page summary that shows that we have complied with the statutory
requirements.

Philo Shelton: Agree, but also as per the workshops where we have listed the
issues that shows we have focused on these issues; each legislature would want to
know if we are focusing on issues.

Jerke: Listing the deliberative process to do this money chase makes sense so the
legislature shows that we are prepared to make recommendations.

Harold Evans: need to be careful on listing major issues that affect roundtable
because we have not really come to a consensus vis a vis what the issues are; thus,
careful what we portray to the legislature.

Jerke: Concurs; would like to state that we have agreed on accepting the SWSI
needs assessment and that we would like to investigate further.

Phillip Steinenger: Agree, keep it shOlt and to the point, what are other basins
doing?

Eric Hecox: This is the first meeting attended.

Chris Trees: CO River District in Glenwood: CO River Basin is concerned with
data available fi-om SWSI because SWSI does not include recreational or
environmental needs; in the Gunnison Basin, there is that same concern and also
concern about the supply/demand component; in the Yampa Basin, the energy
component was not included; so these basins would want an expanded assessment
to report on these missing items.

Jerke: How about IBCC and officers take a look at it after receiving draft from
Hecox, is this enough representation? If not, we can try to have all of us look at
it? Comments?

General concurrence that draft from Hecox and DNR will be reviewed by IBCC
reps and officers.

Bmce Gerk: If there is any individual who would like to look at it outside of this
group, please include in your distribution.

Jerke: Yes, of course; any individual who wants to look at it should contact Hecox
directly and a draft will be forwarded.

Gerk: Per this report, since we began meeting about projects, does Eric see any
danger of us getting off task with our huge focus on this money? Might we get
off track fi-om our purpose and focus of reaching consensus on all of our diverse
issues?

3
