<br />:; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />o Working groups may create task groups to explore a particular issue that falls under <br />the working group's purview. <br />o Working groups will report back to the Consensus Committee on a monthly basis <br />and to the full Task Force on a quarterly basis. <br />o Experts may be invited from other agencies or geographic areas to participate in <br />discussions or working groups. <br />o Additional working groups may be created if needed and agreed to by the Consensus <br />Committee to address new issues that may arise. <br /> <br />Facilitation <br />The Consensus Committee of the Fountain Creek Vision Task Force will select a professional <br />and/or trained facilitator to manage all aspects of the meetings of the Task Force, the Consensus <br />Committee, and the working groups. This includes maintaining an accurate list of members, <br />preparing agendas, sending meeting announcements, preparing and distributing meeting summaries, <br />and other activities as deemed necessary. The facilitator will take an active role in keeping the Task <br />Force, the Consensus Committee, and the working groups productive and focused on outcomes. <br />The facilitator will regularly consult with the Consensus Committee on these matters as necessary. <br /> <br />Ground Rules <br />Ground rules facilitate having a civil and productive dialogue. Participants in meetings of the <br />Fountain Creek Vision Task Force, the Consensus Committee, or any of the associated working <br />groups agree to abide by the following ground rules: <br />. Treat everyone at the table as an equal and with respect. <br />. Do not speak when others are speaking. <br />. No side conversations. <br />. Explain whv you want what you want. <br />. Do not assume that you understand others' concerns and interests before the conversation <br />starts. <br />. Do not characterize others' views. <br />. Acknowledge the past but look to the future. <br />. Focus your comments on finding solutions. <br />. Stay focused on the purpose of this group. <br /> <br />Timeline <br />Acknowledging that there are outside forces that may impact its work and its own deadlines, the <br />Fountain Creek Vision Task Force seeks to produce a strategic plan for the Fountain Creek <br />watershed by the end of2007. However, city and county governments and other entities may be <br />planning their 2008 spending budgets in mid-2007, and it is important for the implementation items <br />that emerge from the planning process to be included in these local budgets. Because of this <br />important need, a draft plan will be made available for limited circulation by June 30, 2007. <br /> <br />Meetine Schedule <br />. The full Task Force will meet at least quarterly and hear reports from the working groups <br />and the Consensus Committee. <br />. The Consensus Committee will meet on the 3rd Friday of each month. <br />o Working groups will set their own schedules for monthly meetings (at the <br />minimum).
