For purposes of
this scope of services, one project meeting is planned.

As the project nears its 80-percent completion, we anticipate that the Town will hold a public
infomlation meeting a.~ a workshop at the Town Board ofTrustces. The public information
meeting will probably be held in early December. y ~ ?,

NoltclEDRC representatives will be in attendance to offer insight into the tectmical questions
that may be raised during the meeting. The purpose ofhok1ing the public information meeting is
to educate the public about the proposed design alternatives and to elicit feedback that can be
used to modifY the preferred alternative.

The project team will prepare a variety of large fonnat (24-inch by 36-inch) wall exhibits and
smaller format handouts.

Deliverable Work Products:

. Meeting minutes from the kick-off meeting and each project meeting
. Large Fonnat Exhibits

Task 2 - Hydrology and Hvdraulic Ana.lysis of Selected Project

The selected project will direct flows from Coal Creek around the Town of Wellington and
outfall to Boxelder Creek. The selected project analysis will include the Alexander HJ1derman Jr.
property as a potential channel route. The hydrologic analysis will be completed using the
adopted hydrologic model(s) available from Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) and
the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The models and associated reports will be
used to provide input to the hydraulic models for the selected project. It is anticipated that the
hydraulic analysis will include preliminary engineering calculations, and computer modeling,
including water smiBcc modeling. These effurts will define the size. configuration and location
of the selected project. An estimate of project construction cost will be provided. The estimate of
costs will be used to oompare the selected project with the alternatives that have been previously
studied.

Deliverable Work Products:

· One copy of the hydrologic and hydraulic calculations completed for the project will
be provided as an appendix: to the Fea.~ibility Report,

1 I/() 1100

1

o :\Pisha'P"upoal\HofITrIlJI1I1OOO\FCS _ oOe.doc
