.

Deliverable Work Products:

1) One copy of the hydrologic and hydraulic calculations completed for the project will be
provided as an appendix to the Feasibility Report.

Task 5 - Local Flooding Drainage Master Plan

As a portion of the work, a drainage Master Plan will be completed. The Master Plan will
provide concepts and identify, to a preliminary leve4 drainage features that will be designed and
constructed to reduce the flood hazard due to local flooding. The Master Plan will consider,
storm recurrence interval, hydrology, hydraulics and water quality. Existing infrastructure will be
considered when determining locations of proposed drainage features.

Computer analysis and preliminary engineering calculations will be used to develop an effective
storm drainage system. For purposes of this scope of services two drainage basins shall be
considered: the Coal Creek drainage basin and the Box Elder Creek drainage basin. Hydrology
will be performed for a small tributary to Box Elder Creek, east ofl-25 named Indian Creek.
Indian Creek is within the Town limits and will require a defined floodplain for the Town to
administer. Each basin will have a stand-alone drainage system that will minimi7.e the basin
transfer of storm water flow. The work will also include a schedule for construction and an
estimate of construction cost for the planned system(s) to be used in the Town Capital
Improvement Program.

~

The Town will receive a narrative drainage master plan report and suitable exhibits for showing
the planned features. Two meetings will be held to coordinate the planned feature with the Town
public works staff.

Deliverable Work Products:

10) Two copies of the draft Local Flooding Drainage Master Plan with exhibits
11) Five copies of the Final Local Flooding Drainage Master Plan with exhibits

Task 6 - Feasibility Study Report

The Feasibility Report will be prepared containing the findings and recommendations for each of
the project alternatives and discuss how the Storm Drainage Master Plan impacts the project.
After completing the hydraulic analyses, the project team will develop a draft priority list based
on factors such as cost, technical feasibility and community priorities.

Many times it is difficult to quantify community priorities because they are commonly based on
intangible fuctors. Therefore, NoltelEDRC will work with the Town to identify a process of
incorporating the intangible needs of the community into prioritizing the alternatives. The
engineering team will work closely with the Town staffwho will prepare and provide the
economic "and financial portions of the feasibility analysis. The report is to be completed in a
specific format as required by the CWCR (see below).
