.

the Town of Wellington is required as part of the report. The NoltelEDRC team will rely on the
Town staff to prepare this data.

Ultimately, a preferred alternative will be identified in the Final Feasibility Report. The
preferred alternative will be defined and documented through completing the priority setting
exercise, the cost evaluation, determination of technical feasibility and information gathered
from the public information meeting. The preferred alternative will have a more complete cost
evaluation for inclusion into the Final Feasibility Report. The study requires a significant
amount of input from the Town for completion. This means information provided to the report
by Town staff and information provided from the citizens at a public information meeting.

As stated above, the CWCB has a specific format for completing the Feasibility Report. An
outline of the required format is shown below. The deadline for submission of the Feasibility
Report is early November 2000 to meet the budget cycle for the state's fiscal year 2001. The
project team will work in concert with the Town staff to meet this important deadline.

The "Coal Creek Drainage Feasibility Study" will generally conform to the following outline.

12) Study Objective
13) Description of Sponsoring Entity
14) Outline of Previous Studies
15) Description of Study Area
16) Prpject Need
17) Protected Project Lands
18) Hydrology and Water Rights
19) Water Quality
20) Field Investigations
21) Formulation and Evaluation of Project Design Alternatives
22) Description of the Preferred Alternative
23) S11mmary and Conclusions
24) Appended Materials
A.
