The Town will be given a large format, mounted and laminated photograph of the Town of
Wellingto~ at 1" = 600'. The photo will be USGS quadrangle map rectified and may be provided
in a digital format for use with the Town's Geographic Information System (GIS).

Deliverable Work Products:

6) One set of aerial photograph contact prints
7) One set of electronic map file(s)
8) One set of reproducible maps

Task 3 - SurveYing

Additional surveying shall be completed, as needed, to locate important features to be used as
part of the analysis. Examples of additional surveyed area may be around the Windsor C~ the
I-25 bridge, other bridges through To~ existing culverts and existing site features along Box
Elder Creek.

NoltelEDRC will identify areas where additional survey information is needed to perform the
hydraulic analysis for the Feasibility Report. Examples of additional survey information that may
be required are irrigation cross-sections, culvert sizes and lengths or street cross-section data
The data gathered under this task will be collected in electronic format.

The surveying needed for the Storm Drainage Master Plan has been noted in Task 5. Completed
under this task is the surveying of the existing local drainage system features and other given
points of interest.

Deliverable Work Products:

9) An electronic file of survey points

Task 4 - Hydrology and Hydraulic Analysis of Preferred Alternative

The preferred ahernative is to direct flows from Coal Creek around the Town of Wellington and
outfall to Boxelder Creek. The hydrologic analysis will be completed using the adopted
hydrologic model(s) available from Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) and the
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The models and associated reports will be
used to provide input to the hydraulic models for the proposed preferred alternative.
Conceptually, this alternative will create a by-pass channel to convey flood flows from the Coal
Creek basin around the Town of Wellington and outfall to Boxelder Creek. It is anticipated that
the hydraulic analysis will include preliminary engineering calculations, and computer modeling,
including water surface modeling. These efforts will define the size, configuration and location
of the preferred ahernative. An estimate of project construction cost will be provided. The
estimate of costs will be used to compare all ahernatives that have been previously studied.

08131/00

5

G:\Fisher\proposal\Hoffinann 2000\FC5 _ OO.doc
