~

follows: 1 )Conduct five supplemental meetings to complete the Mitigation Report. These include
three Town Board meetings, one with the CWCB and one with Town staff. 2)Expand the number of
feasible alternatives evaluated in the Feasibility Report from three to four in response to comments
gathered from the public. 3)Expand the effort to identify and evaluate potential funding sources for
construction of the flood protection improvements.

Periodic project meetings will be held for updates regarding the project's progress and to resolve
important points for inclusion of specific information in the project definition study. For purposes of
this scope of services, monthly project meetings are planned.

As the project nears its 80-percent completion, we anticipate that the Town will hold a public
information meeting at a location and time to be determined. The public information meeting
will be held in lieu of one regular project meeting.

NoltelEDRC representatives will be in attendance to offer insight into the technical questions
that may raised during the meeting. The purpose of holding the public information meeting is to
educate the public about the proposed design alternatives and to elicit feedback that can be used
to modify the preferred alternative.

The project team will prepare a variety ofIarge format (24-inch by 36-inch) wall exhibits and
smaller format handouts.

Deliverable Work Products:

4) Meeting minutes from the kick-off meeting and each project meeting
5) Large Format Exhibits

Task 2 - Orthogr~hic Maps

The town has recently purchased new aerial photograph which includes a portion of the Coal
Creek Basin. This information will be used, if applicable to build the needed aerial photography,
and orthographic mapping to complete the Feasibility Report and Storm Drainage Master PIan.
The additional photography and mapping will include the Box Elder Creek corridor from the
Windsor Canal (the north boundary of the flight area) to the intersection of Box Elder Creek and
Interstate 25 and Indian Creek a small tributary east ofI-25. This area will be mapped using a
contour interval of 1 '. This mapping coverage is needed to perform the hydrologic analysis of the
additional alternative requested by CWCB.

NoltelEDRC will provide 2-foot contour maps, at a scale of I" = 100' covering the Master Plan
study area. Survey control points and aerial mapping of the entire Town of Wellington
(approximately 3,500 acres) will be needed to complete the Local Flooding Drainage Master
Plan (Task 5). Nolte survey crews will prepare and install "panel point" targets for use during
the aerial photography. Please see Task 3.

08131100

4

G:\Fishtl\proposal\Hoffinatm 2000\FCS _ OO.doc
