Filtration Plant <br />A description of the existing filter <br />plant including operation, treated water <br />production, backwashing, and capacity <br />including proposed recycling of backwash <br />water. Tables and graphs of past <br />production will be used. Pressure problems <br />alleged to be associated with backwashing <br />will be reviewed. Peak hourly, daily, <br />weekly, and monthly water use rates <br />will be established and used in <br />designing future system improvements. <br /> <br />E. Treated Water Storage <br />Existing reservoirs on Garnet Mesa <br />will be described. <br /> <br />F. Distribution System <br />An updated map of the City's <br />distribution system will be presented. <br />Known problems such as inadequate <br />pressures and critical flow lines will <br />be discussed. Evidence of losses due to <br />leaks, if any, will be explored to <br />determine the general condition of the <br />system. <br /> <br />G. System Capacity <br />A discussion and/or table of the <br />existing or maximum expandable capacity <br />of each element of the system previously <br />described. The capacities of each <br />element will be compared to the water <br />use forecast of Section IV to determine <br />at what le,vel of growth improvements to <br />the system will be necessary. <br /> <br />H. System Operation <br />A description of the existing operation <br />and maintenance of the system. Annual <br />water restrictions on residential use <br />will be discussed. Possible improvements <br />will be suggested if appropriate. <br />
