Water Use Forecast <br />Based on the population projection and <br />the trends in per capita water use, future <br />water use will be projected for the period <br />of study. Results for raw and treated water <br />will be presented in tabular and graphic <br />form. <br /> <br />H. Effect of Metering in Residential Use <br />A discussion of metering and its impact <br />on future water consumption by residents <br />of Delta. The impact may be significant <br />on projected water use and will be <br />indicated accordingly. <br /> <br />FUTURE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />A. Standards of Quality <br />The current schedule of State Department <br />of Health and Environmental Protection <br />. Agency Standards for water quality will <br />be reviewed to establish design criteria <br />for all elements of treatment facilities. <br /> <br />B. Design Criteria <br />Criteria to be used in design of future <br />system components will be stated including <br />sizing criteria for raw water reservoirs, <br />pump stations, transmission lines, <br />treatment plants, and treated water <br />reservoirs. Hydraulic losses and water <br />hammer pressures in pipelines; max~mum, <br />minimum, and normal water surface <br />elevations of pump stations; and other <br />design criteria will be established. <br /> <br />C. Raw Water Supply <br />The existing supply on Grand Mesa will <br />be compared to the raw water requirements <br />determined in the water use forecast <br />to establish if and when additional <br />supplies will be required. <br />
