For that reason, <br />the South Platte River does not match the regional data of the <br />USGS. <br /> <br />The flood frequency-discharges used in the two independent <br />re-analyses of the South Platte River were taken from the May 1983 <br />hydrologic study developed by Merrick and Company under ~ontract to <br />the UDFeD (Reference 1). Analyses were carried out to establish <br />the peak elevation-frequency relationships for each flood source <br />studied by detailed methods. Peak-discharge area relationships for <br />the streams studied by detailed methods within Littleton except for <br />SJCD 6100 are shown in Table 1. <br /> <br />Table 1.
