RTW, Inc. will assist in the <br />discussions. <br /> <br />Step 2 - Chclracterize Water Use and Demand Forecast <br /> <br />Purpose <br /> <br />The activities described under this task will provide information on the City's existing and <br />projected water use. <br /> <br />Approach <br /> <br />2.1 Characterize current water use <br />In coordination with City's finance department, Clear Water Rights, Inc. will <br />review sales records, diversion records and billing records to summarize water <br />use by category. Included in the discussion will be quantifications of indoor vs <br />outdoor use and potable vs non-potable use. RTW, Inc. will assist in the <br />quantification of these values. Clear Water Rights, Inc. will also develop <br />histor,ical trends in use by customer class and identify the top water purchasers <br />and quantify the amount of the water purchased on a total and percentage basis. <br />2.2 Select forecasting methoc:l <br />A demand forecasting method will be selected and described. <br />2.3 Prepare demand forecast <br />RTW, Inc. will work with the City to estimate future water demand by customer <br />class.
