The meeting will be convened at 7:00 pm, in <br />the Fort Lupton Middle School auditorium, located at 201 S. McKinley Ave., Fort <br />Lupton, Colorado. <br /> <br />The first agenda item will be the formal approval of $19,000,000 funding from the <br />office of Rural Economic and Community Development (formerly FmHA and/or <br />RDA), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture. <br /> <br />This is the culmination of a multi-year funding process and an example of <br />unprecedented intergovernmental cooperation, which will assist the City of Fort <br />Lupton in fulfilling our drinking water needs well into the twenty-first century. <br />These funds consist of $11.5 million in loan monies and $7.5 million in grant <br />monies. The use of the funds are designated for completion of the "Eastern <br />Pipeline Project" in collaboration with Northern Colorado Water Conservancy <br />District. Also included are water treatment plant land acquisition, design and <br />construction, and the purchase of "Pure Rocky Mountain Water' units. <br /> <br />RECD has invited the following individuals to participate in this activity: <br /> <br />SENATOR HANK BROWN <br />SENATOR BEN NIGHTHORSE CAMPBELL <br />CONGRESSMAN WAYNE ALLARD <br />GOVERNOR Roy ROMER <br />REeD/Rus ADMINISTRATOR WALLY B.
