This chapter will provide a <br />~v description of the municipal water requirements, water <br />supply available, a list of water rights, and <br />information on water quality. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />,) <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Chapter V = Plan of Development. In this section the <br />Preliminary Design of the proposed improvements will <br />be presented. We will show a layout of the proposed <br />reservoir site and design details. Since this is a <br />new reservoir, we will also present information on <br />alternative sites that have been investigated (if not <br />done in Chapter III). <br /> <br />All information available on geological investigations <br />will be_included. (Addit~'on backhoe pits are <br />needed.) Laboratory tests . e soils to verify the <br />structural stability ~ ~ts are also <br />recommended; a narrati ~ort. .r.. incoln-DeVore is <br />also suggested based 0 the' t . es. <br /> <br />It would also be hel~o ave Air Photos prepare a <br />contour map with cont s of 1 to 2 ft. elevation to <br />assure more accuracy r the preliminary design since <br />it will be needed later for final design. (It may not <br />be need~d for preliminary design since the site is <br />relatively flat; we could take some elevation'shots to <br />get an approximate idea of the slope if funds are <br />limited~) <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Chapter VI = Estimated Cost. Cost estimates for the <br />proje~t will be developed and will be included in this <br />chapter. Also included will be any engineering costs <br />for final design and resident engineering. <br /> <br />8. Chapter VII. proiect Evaluation and Chapter VIII, <br />Financial Proqram. These two chapters will be <br />combined together and will summarize proposed <br />construction costs and the repayment schedule. <br />Included in the repayment schedule will be a summary <br />of the payments covering any other debts owed by the <br />Commission, operation and maintenance costs, and <br />contributions to Emergency operating Fund. <br />
