larger reservoir would be desirable; however, 10 million
gallons is probably the maximum affordable size with the
$320,000 loan. We will re-evaluate these costs during the
Feasibility Report to determine if that amount is still valid
to the existing site.

We would suggest a water depth for the new reservoir of 15
to 18 feet to reduce the surface area and resultant problems
with algae growths and aquatic weeds. At 15 feet deep, the
square reservoir would have inside dimensions of 370 ft..x 370
ft. At 18 feet deep, inside dimensions would be about 325 x
325. It is probable that the reservoir will have to be lined
with a layer of clay; however, there does appear to be some
clay material on-site. It may be possible to expand the
reservoir at a later date, either by enlarging the reservoir or
by building a second reservoir adjacent to the proposed new
reservoir.
