She is a <br />member oCthe Colorado Association of Floodplain Managers and the <br />Association of State Floodplain Managers. limy's duties include: <br />assistance for communities regarding the NFIP, project reviews, public <br />outreach, education and training through workshops. newsletters and <br />public meetings. She coordinates with FEMA and other State programs <br />to promote the NFIP and related activities. He is the administrator <br />of the Govemor's Flood Task Force, and manages the new quantitative <br />spatial assessment of snow pack research projcct that uses the NOAA- <br />SNODAS Snowp;lck model. He also manages the South Platte River Channel <br />Maintenance and Easements programs. This position manages the watershed <br />restoration program to enhance nood protection and related assets <br />along stream corridors. Other major duties arc: water quality <br />coordination. water supply support for SWSI. grants administration, <br />and development of project scoping tools. This position provides <br />technical assistance for planning and implementation of river restomtion through CWeB <br />funds and the Colorado Watershed Protection Fund.
