".1-:., CFJ\I oversees all programmatic areas for <br />the CWCB Flood Protection Section, including watershed resloration and <br />weather modification pennitting for Colorado. He is responsible for <br />directing and coordinating the work oftive professional positions and <br />multiple consultant contracts. Tom has worked with stakeholder to help <br />implement new statutes, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to the <br />agency's mission and strategic plan. He is the project manager for the <br />Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Project within the Denver Metropolitan <br />area, and previously served as the Section Engineer prior to his appointment as the Section <br />Chief. Tom is the current Chair oCthe Colorado Association ofStonnwalcr & Floodplain <br />Managers. and Chair of the Colorado Flood Task Force. He is an immediate past Board <br />Membcr for the Association of State Floodplain Managers. Phone (303) 866-4804 <br /> <br />Kevin Houck, P.E., CFJ\I is the section cnginccr working to mitigate <br />nooding through a variety ofactivitics and projccts. His major areas of <br />responsibility include: Designation and approval of 100-year noodplain <br />infommtion, engineering lead for nood hydrology, alluvial fan, debris now, <br />and post-wildfire studies, and nood response program manager. Kevin was <br />rcccntly the State Coordinator for the National Flood Insurance Progmm, is <br />the current Vice-Chair of the Color'ado Association ofStornlwater & <br />Floodplain Managcrs, and serves on the board of the Association ofStatc Floodplain <br />Managers. He has served on the Boards of the American Public Works Association of <br />Color:.ulo and the American Water Resources Association of Colorado. She is a member of the Colomdo <br />Association of Slornlwater and Floodplain Managers and thc Association of <br />Slatc Floodplain Managers. Dawn manages federal investments to dircct <br />st:.ucwide modernization of noodplain maps including Digital Floodplain maps <br />and the eventual update and maintenance of such maps. Local mapping project <br />development coordination, scopes of work, liaison bctwecn FEMA and local <br />governments, and public presentations providing DFJRM project status and outreach for the <br />Map Modernization Program are her other duties.
