<br />future management of Colorado's water, providing an objective analysis <br />2 of the different methods for quantifying recreational in-channel diversion <br />3 water rights, and determining the economic benefits associated with both <br /> <br />4 instream flow and recreational in-channel diversion water rights. The <br /> <br />5 scope of work for the project shall be developed by the board. <br />6 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall <br /> <br />7 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is <br /> <br />8 completed. <br /> <br />9 SECTION 17. Water conservation public awareness research <br />10 study - appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there <br /> <br />11 is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the Colorado water <br />12 conservation board construction fund not otherwise appropriated, to the <br /> <br />13 Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />2007, the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), or so <br /> <br />15 much thereof as may be necessary, for the board to conduct a study to <br /> <br />16 identify critical attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors among Coloradans <br /> <br />17 regarding water and water use efficiency, including opinions about water <br /> <br />18 availability, the importance of water conservation, water project funding, <br /> <br />19 sources of drinking water, and how the environment is impacted by water. <br /> <br />20 The study results shall provide the basis for developing a future statewide <br /> <br />21 water conservation public awareness campaign. <br /> <br />22 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall <br />23 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is <br /> <br />24 completed. <br />25 SECTION 18. South Platte river and Arkansas river basins <br /> <br />26 alternative agriculture water transfer sustainability grant program <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />- appropriation.
